Description
This is similar to ticket #545 from 20 months ago on Ubuntu 9.04. There was no resolution. I just installed Cinelerra on Mint 10 (downstream of Ubuntu 10.10) and I get the same error. I was able to --purge remove with no problem. I fixed another error and tried to install again, but I got the same error. -f install just repeats the error. Is there a fix/workaround for this? Here is the error:
master@Mint10dediting ~ $ sudo apt-get -f install

dpkg: error processing cinelerra (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 4
Errors were encountered while processing:
cinelerra
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I can boot Cinelerra and it seems to work, but I would like to resolve the error so I can install more packages.
If anyone can recommend a good encoder/transcoder for .TOD files I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Chris
