projector changes within compositor does not fit within track

Description
When using a large image (much larger than the actual movie resolution) I like to use the projector to make a path over the image. This works fine accept for the trace within the editor. The XYZ projector values are to large for the editor to handle. Because of this the XYZ lines are outside the video track.
It would really a big help if I was able to see the key's and could change the values of the keys.
