Description
After opening an avi file which was previously captured from a MiniDV Camcorder by Sony Vegas on Windows, Cinelerra has crippled sound in some parts of the file.
When opening the file in other programs such as kino and mplayer the sound is perfectly correct in the whole file.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Cinelerra
2.Open Avi file
3.wait for sound graph to be drawn (file ist ~6 GiB)
4.skip through the file and you see passages whith only noise
Actual Results:
When viewing the crippled passages you hear noise like an overlay to the original sound which is very silent in these passages.
Expected Results:
I'd expect Cinelerra to play the sound as it really is in the file.
I also tested the sound in various other programs including kino and mplayer. They play the Sound as it should be and give no sign of an error in the avi file.
I use the current SVN Version of Cinelerra built on Thu. 15.03.2007.
The Environment in which I use it is a Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft 32-Bit System.
I have not tested this with other files yet, but will do that later.
Sound System used is ALSA. Changing this to OSS or ESD doesn't change anything on the Problem.
