German translation: Problem in preferences/recording dialog

Please look at the linked screenshot.
The field to enter "frames to record to disk at a time" isn't useable with the
german translation ("frames, die pro Zeiteinheit auf die Platte zu schreiben
sind") because the translated text is too long.

How about contacting the translator (me)?

The proper fix whould be to support strings of variable length
in cinelerra. I once provided a minor patch which allows at
least to specify a fixed length for dialogs in PO files ...

OK, a rephrasing is probably the easiest solution:

"Zu speichernde Frames pro Zeiteinheit"
(frames to save per time unit)

I hope it would match (the screenshot is no longer available)
