Description

When using an effect from the plugins menu only the "Set up effect panel and hit
ok"-window appears but not the window to set the effect-properties.
After hitteing the ok-button cinelerra crashes.

The following is displayed on the commandline:

signal_entry: got SIGSEGV execution table 0:
signal_entry: lock table 60

0x8849d90 CWindowTool::input_lock CWindowTool::run
0x8ae6428 FileThread::output_lock FileThread::run 1

BC_Signals::dump_buffers: buffer table 0
SigHandler::signal_handler total files=1
Closing /tmp/testvid
Segmentation fault

Note:
I'm using the most current debian/sid
The version I used is from  http://www.kiberpipa.org/~minmax/cinelerra/builds/sid/
I also tried the heroineware-versions by converting the rpms to deb via alien,
the same happened there.

Hi there jochen,

Which pluging did you test? I'm a little unclear on how to reproduce this, or

which pluging menu you used. I can attach a video effect/plugin using the
'attach effect' menu after right clicking on a video track without trouble, but
don't see tne 'set up effect...' panel you mention. I can also drag a plugin
from the asset /resource window onto a track and not have any trouble. Could
you add a little more detail to the sequence to reproduce, including which
plugin you used, sequence, and what kind of system you are on.

Thanks,
Kevin
