This is similar to ticket #545 from 20 months ago on Ubuntu 9.04. There was no resolution. I just installed Cinelerra on Mint 10 (downstream of Ubuntu 10.10) and I get the same error. I was able to --purge remove with no problem. I fixed another error and tried to install again, but I got the same error. -f install just repeats the error. Is there a fix/workaround for this? Here is the error: master@Mint10dediting ~ $ sudo apt-get -f install Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 21 not upgraded. 1 not fully installed or removed. After this operation, 0B of additional disk space will be used. Setting up cinelerra (1:2.1.5-0.14~ppa1~maverick1) ... cannot open locale definition file `de_DE': No such file or directory dpkg: error processing cinelerra (--configure):

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) I can boot Cinelerra and it seems to work, but I would like to resolve the error so I can install more packages. If anyone can recommend a good encoder/transcoder for .TOD files I would appreciate it. Thanks,

Currently, text added with the Titler effect gets too wide if the video is anamorphic, as 16:9 DV or DVD video. Freetype2 can be told to render with different x and y resolutions, and the results look pretty good. The Titler should either detect the project's pixel aspect ratio, and set its x and y scale accordingly, or there should be a few preset pixel aspect ratios that the user can choose. |
